Seafuture 2021, the Mediterranean basin’s cross way on the themes of Naval Defence and Blue Ecconomy
Eurocontrol confirmed its presence at the La Spezia Military Base Seafuture event year after year, being able to witness the convention’s constant growth in prestige and notoriety in the Defence maritime and dual use technologies sectors.
Looking at the numbers: 12,500 square meters of exhibition, 235 companies exhibiting, 70 international Navies delegations, 2600 b2b meetings and about 12,000 visitors, up 25% compared to the previous edition.
Prominent Italian government’s representatives, such as the Minister of Defence Lorenzo Guerini, who attended the opening ceremony, the Undersecretary of State for Defence Senator Stefania Pucciarelli, who intervened at the latter panel, on the Underwater domain, of the four days of conferences, workshops and round tables, and Minister Giancarlo Giorgietti who stated at the media, “the government and the ministry of economic development feel close to the hundreds of small, medium and large companies that are engaged on the technological frontier that concerns the sea“
Returning to Seafuture after the Covid19 Pandemic was very important for EC to strengthen relations with international contacts and toestablish new relationships.
