The international maritime community meets at the Genoa Shipping Week 2021 Conference

For once it was not necessary to travel much to meet the international maritime cluster. The fifth edition of the Genoa Shipping Week, a biennial event dedicated to the ultimate technological innovations aimed at promoting the development of the logistic and maritime system, has just ended 10th october in our city of Genoa.

The intense program of events pulled together the aspects of technical analysis, especially on the issues of maritime sustainability and safety, and the aspect of new business opportunities, focusing on the most technologically advanced companies, as well as the aspect of spread and promote the ports’ culture to a wider audience.

Being a company engaged for 50 years in the Research and Development of cutting-edge products and services for the naval Defence sector, Eurocontrol fits comfortably in the debate on innovation in the maritime sector, in which the event is part.
As Genoese, we are proud of how our City has been able to welcome ports, maritime and logistic operators from all over the world, offering a rich program of side events, from theater, to sports, to guided tours to the magnificent ROLLI palaces,aristocratic residences, jewels of 1500s architecture, Unesco World Heritage listed buildings and symbolic places of the ancient dominion of Genoa over the seas during the “Century of Gold”.
